CAALC supports the FAITH Neighborhood Center’s Summer Feeding Program

At the May monthly General Meeting, CAALC members collected $350 for a donation to the FAITH Neighborhood Center’s (FNC) Summer Feeding Program. That program was created to help fight hunger among south Lake County’s school aged children. Children who participate in the school free breakfast and lunch program during the school year do not have access to those meals during the summer school break.
This year with a donation of $35, the FNC can feed one child breakfast, lunch, and a snack five days a week. Saturday’s donation meant there are 10 children who won’t be going hungry this summer.
The FNC’s goal is to support 200 children. Every little bit helps. Visit them at
